My Thoughts On: Captain Marvel and the Carol Carps #4

1. Of course Carol does not want to leave Helen and Rhodey as her boots on the ground. In any universe, those are her people!

2. This exchange just killed my shipping heart. "Rhodey, in another world, maybe..." "It's a date, Captain. I'll see you there."

3. "Here goes everything" is now my new life motto because I just like how that sounds.

4. How many Dooms are there? Is there a Thor Doom and then a main Doom? Or is this just regular Doom leading the Thors into battle? Again, so many questions!

5. I'm not usually drawn to the art, but the plane fight scenes with the Banshees are particularly excellent. I like the entire look of the series, but these were great action scenes, which usually bore me but didn't here.

6. "Some things are worth dying for, Kit. We know where we stand and who we stand with. Do you?" Anyone who doesn't think Carol Danvers is an ideological hero on the level of Captain America, read this line. Carol Danvers for president 2020!

7. I love the fight scene between Kit and Carol. Guys, this is what fighting between two women looks like when it is not hypersexualized! Isn't it nice?

8. "Please don't do this. I'm begging you, Captain. If you go into the void, you'll die." "Maybe. Maybe not. But either way, we will have the truth." Again, Carol Danvers is the hero we all need.

9.
Kit switching sides and helping Carol may be the most satisfying plot twist I've ever encountered in a comic. I only wish we'd spent more time with her and on this relationship.

10. Ah!!! So much to talk about, so little time. I love how this comic ends, but I have so many questions.
Why did the Baroness let them go? Where they able to come back for Helen and Rhodey?
What happens next? I would love to see this explored in a longer series.
