Dirty Boxing by Tara Wyatt, Harper St George

3.0

I received this book as part of a giveaway in exchange for an honest review. Jules grew up in the world of sports with a power player father that overtook a boxing company after his retirement for the league. Due to her parents failed marriage and her tough upbringing she is scared to show emotion and let people in. Nick has worked his way up to become one of the top fighters from the bottom. He is tired of wasting his time on temporary relationships that end up meaningless. These two opposites end their relationship after a brief fling, until he begins working at Jules' father's company. This book was steamy and focused very little on the actual fights within the arena. It was an enjoyable read, however it was a little unrealistic that Jules always came prepared with matching bra and panties and my attention was distracted from the story line by the constant flashbacks or actual sexual acts every few pages. Obviously, the title indicates the book will be dirty. But, certain big moments happened and were immediately cheapened by delving right back into the bedroom, in my opinion.
