“It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt—and then, that’s when the real fun starts.”

This is quality trashy teen soap opera material.

Do you enjoy drama?

Were you addicted to Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars and Mean Girls?

Well, if that’s the case, this is just what the doctor ordered.

I remember reading this series when I was in high school, but never actually finished it because stuff just happened and then I lost track of this story and then I went to college and blah blah I’ve been busy adulting.
I recently found this series in a thrift shop and decided to finally end what I started years ago. 2021 is all about finishing series for me.

Alpha girl Harper is friends with Miranda, who is just a bit too bland and too smart to be anyone's dream girl.
Harper is in love with her childhood best friend, Adam, the classic all-American jock, who in turn is dating Beth.
Adam is friends with Kane, a womaniser with zero scruples who Miranda has a crush on. But Kane has set his sights on Beth, blonde, innocent and the only girl who seems immune to his charms.
And then there's Kaia, the new girl at school, ready to make trouble wherever she goes.

I'm going to get straight to the point. The characters in this book are bad people. Literally the worst people you can meet out there, and they all live in the small town of Grace (CA), which makes me think that it must be the place on earth with the highest percentage of assholes per square metre.

To be honest, it's not every day you find me rooting for the villains and hoping their evil plans are successful. But it was just so so entertaining.
