Fun, but also a bit bland.

I feel like more could have been done for the layout of the pages and panels.

Flipping through it again right now I feel like Shiro Amano either didn't quite understand how to do the layout properly, because pages feel cramped with panels in some places and in others empty, or she had to squeeze in all the game dialogue in a certain amount of pages.

There is a lot of setup necessary.

There IS a number of fantastic spreads and panels that do show off Amano's skill I don't really know what's going on.

The fact that it is flipped - as in it reads left to right (which throws me off so much because I'm used to manga reading right to left). That may have been why I don't remember it as fondly as I expected to.

Baby Destiny Trio makes up for a lot, but the constant confusion about the reading order drags my rating down.

The manga feels a lot more grounded in time - in a way that a game can’t pull off since the time is dependent on the player.

So in that way this paves the way for future installments quite well.
