Blind Spot by Brenda Novak

4.0

I've enjoyed this series so much, especially being able to watch Evelyn and Amarok's relationship grow with each one. Once I start, I'm typically on the edge of my seat until the end and devour it all one day.

I question my own sanity however, whenever I find myself enjoying the villain POV. In this case, it was delightfully disturbing to hear his thoughts, and there were points in the story where I would've thrown the book, but thankfully I was listening to the audiobook.

There are some graphic points in this story, but from someone that's squeamish, it wasn't too much for my taste. The entire story revolves around Evelyn being abducted by someone from her past. I was surprised to find myself liking one of the villains, so that speaks highly to the authors writing.

Definitely read the books in this series in order! While this could be read as a stand alone, there are spoilers for events and characters from previous stories, so read at your own risk.
