This book is a good almost 60% of Ryker and Zoey being separated. I feel like it's meant to help clear our heads as much as Zoey's.
They're both being held captive in very different places but the torture they each deal with is just as bad for each other considering their own backgrounds.
This one kept me on the edge of anxiety! Trying to see how it would play out and waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I KNEW DMG was up to something and I'm glad they did what they did... a little. I'm hoping in the end it plays out well but I have one more book to go through to see how this all ends.
Also... Sprig... still love him!
