Fairy Tale by Stephen King

3.0

I started off loving this book, but I quickly began to dislike it, as the story went on. Stephen King is normally so great about getting you to know and love the characters, but in this book, he creates at one point a set of 32 characters that you need to get to know immediately, which makes you not care for any of them. The book also could’ve gone so many places that it did not explore. For example, since Charlie becomes the prince, and is that probably Royal I assumed we were going to find out that Lea was his aunt.

If you are reading my review and and thinking about reading this book, I would say Skip fairytale, and read John Connolly’s the book of lost things. It is a similar story that is better.
