Read aloud to my son. Written from a 5 year olds perspective which could be confusing for beginning readers but works great as a read aloud allowing for lots of guided inferencing and prediction. Also what not to do...
This one hit close to home... My son wandered away from home when he was six. The sheriff found him. He thought it was neat to see the other side.
