Invisible Women by Lily Hoang

3.0

Sigmund Freud and Lou Andreas-Salome try to describe all women, or sometimes very specific women. The idea of a universal woman is proposed and redefined and ridiculed and at least partially confirmed. Meanwhile, and ever shifting "woman down the hall" is described and the interactions with the narrators or narrator (Andreas-Salome?) are outlined.

Perception of women is the overwhelming theme and it's tackled from lots of different perspectives. An interesting short novella.
