A Medicine for Melancholy and Other Stories by Ray Bradbury

5.0

Ray Bradbury why? Why only four pages? I want more.
Anyhow. "All Summer in A Day" was my first encounter with Ray Bradbury and what can I say I loved it.
All Summer in a Day is about a group of children and our protagonist Margot (Margot being the only one knowing what the sun looks like (as she lived on earth before) on a planet where there is always darkness. The sun supposedly only comes out every 7 years. Today is that day.

For everyone like me who has never read anything by this author before "All Summer in A Day" seems like a gateway into his fiction. The writing was tremendous and I can't wait to pick up more of his work.
