I've loved this series since I was a child so keep reading the books out of dedication. It might bey age as I have been reading them but I feel like first 9 books were much better. The last series of 6 lost its way in the middle but regained it again at the end. This series started well but this was seems a little confused and unfortunately the epic scale of the last series makes this feel a bit anti climactic. I'm intrigued to see how it all ends in the next book, I feel like there's a lot of loose threads.

The mystery elements of the book were very good and the twist at the end was enjoyable. The characters were loveable as always. Overall, a mixed bag but I'll keep reading to the end.
