Please Pick Me has a great emotional impact. This poetry collection has the common themes such as self-love, pain, abuse, longing, self-worth, toxic relationships etc. Yet, it makes me say "Hey, I felt that" on majority of the poems. Some hit hard and it's difficult to hold back my tears (especially when I've read call abuse abuse -- this one is my favorite prose btw). Realizations came into my mind and as I grow older, I learned it's okay to let go of the things that drains your soul. People might find it selfish but no, you deserve peace. That makes you wiser and braver.

Another thing I loved about this collection is its structure. They are not rundown sentences and can I commend how beautiful the design is? It makes the poems very atmospheric. Overall, I recommend this collection. Thank you for sharing your masterpiece, Reina. It means a lot for readers mostly those who are going through the tough times.

My favorite poems in this collection are:
- call abuse abuse
- pirate
-six times we were fated and one time we weren't
- how romantic
- love letters from the Major Arcana
