Edward must escape from the evil Mr. Scruggs once again - and figure out how to use his super-Guardian powers, too, so that he and his new friends can rescue his mother and save the world.
Liked it better than the 1st book. Maybe because I had a better grasp on the characters and the world of the setting at this point.
Good for elem. school boys, esp. maybe some middle schoolers.
