"We could be on opposite sides of the world, but you would still be mine, as I am yours.”

W O W. BEAUTIFUL. AMAZING. WONDERFUL. All the positive adjectives. I love this book so much and I cannot wait for the second book. There wasn't a lot of "pirate" aspects in this book but it really laid out the foundation for what is going to be an intense adventure in Blacksouls! If I had to compare this to other novels it would be a mixture of [b:The Winner's Curse|16069030|The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1)|Marie Rutkoski|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1377023523s/16069030.jpg|21861552] and [b:Daughter of the Pirate King|33643994|Daughter of the Pirate King (Daughter of the Pirate King, #1)|Tricia Levenseller|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1483132546s/33643994.jpg|46636002].
