Six Sacred Swords by Andrew Rowe
4.0
Six Sacred Swords, the debut book of Weapons and Wielders, is a fun, Legend-of-Zelda-esque series with fun magic and action. Rowe's other, more well-known series do tie in to a small degree, but Weapons and Wielders also stands alone as a fun, action-packed fantasy adventure that doesn't take itself too seriously, though it is certainly compelling, and the characters are plenty charming. Its sequel, Diamantine, is even more fun, despite its length. Six Sacred Swords is a straightforward, fun fantasy book (with an awesome cover) that isn't too long and perfect for those who just want to read something full of crazy magic, dragons, adventure, and, of course, superpowered talking swords. Wait, did I mention the swords talk?!
