This was a very enjoyable, light read. The world was beautifully painted, and made me want to go to the Eastern Sea and talk to the dragons. The book’s themes were not very deep, which is fine! But I would like to see something deeper and darker in this setting. I was disappointed by the plot twist, and that no revolution against the empire happens (yet? maybe the sequel will get be there).  Overall beautifully written and fun.
