My only complaint is that Maris' book just wasn't long enough.
For a short story though, it packs a punch. So much is revealed regarding Maris & Darling's friendship. I was a bit confused by Ture & Zarya though. They're suppose to be really good friends, but they don't interact much at all. For as wounded and Maris and Ture are, it was nice to see their relationship evolve at a realistic pace.
Overall though, I loved their story. Hope to see more of them in future books!
