A Winter Grave by Peter May
4.5
A real chilling read, in more ways than one.
Set in 2051 in the Scottish Highlands, detective Cameron Brodie volunteered to investigate Charles Younger, a missing investigative reporter who’s been missing for 3 months and found entombed in ice. But Brodie doesn’t just have the Younger crime on his mind, he’s in the Highland village for another reason too.
This a real chilling crime thriller, we not only have the crime, we have political corruption, family drama and deep dark secrets.
A page turner right from the very start.
There is so many twists and turns and towards the end I simply couldn’t put the book down. I was completely gripped throughout reading it and the ending had me shocked.
