I love this book so much though some of that may be nostalgia. It is so well written with storylines flowing past just this book and hints that make rereads even better. Carter has always been one of my favorite book boys and I love Sadie too. All of the characters have such unique voices and the switching POVs between the siblings adds more instead of taking away from the book. The choice to frame the story as a recording just makes the experience of reading it and feel all the more personal. And putting this world into the same universe as Percy Jackson expanded on that series so much by just existing. An amazing book I’ll come back to again and again.
