In one of the reviews for this book I saw someone say something along the lines of “it was so weird i’m still processing it” and that intrigued me enough to pick it up. Granted, this book seems to be quite a big hit or miss with people. But for me, it was hit. In all honesty, it was one of those books where I would read something one of the characters said and immediately feel it resonate with me—something which I know is pretty rare, but which I hope everyone gets the chance to experience. It was strikingly funny at points, kind of meta in a good way, and very hard-hitting. I implore future readers to look past what I feel is kinda of a meh cover and summary and try for being pleasantly surprised at the weird contents.
