tempted to take away .25 bc of how much i’ve cried and how ill have a migraine at work tomorrow bc of it. i haven’t cried as much over a book in nearly a decade. my god. anything grandfather related usually gets me but in this? my god. the way love is written in literally 65 pages genuinely ruins you , because you know that when it comes to losing those you love, it’s never the big things that could’ve been, but the loss of the little things that did happen. and how grandkids become like their grandparents, and that cycle really ruined me bc, that was me and my grandfather, who i wish i got to know more. my god i don’t think i’ll ever have enough words. there are so many quotes i highlighted bc they were so gorgeously written. the way family, love, relationships and mortality is portrayed… im going to end my life. i’m mailing fredrik backman my therapist fees

edit: with the way this bastard book still affects me weeks after reading it … yeah .
