A quick read, not quite in my wheelhouse though. The story is set is a (possibly post-apocalyptic) American West setting, with a traveling band of Librarians, who distribute "approved" materials to rural towns. There seems to be a weird mish-mash of modern technologies and classic Western moments. The band of Librarians seem a bit outside the "status quo" for our main character, Esther, as she learns she fits in more with this band of misfits with each passing day.
Turns out, this band of misfits are actually a network of queer found families and allies looking to spread the word that there's more life to live outside the regulations of the State/Government.
Moderate: Murder, Homophobia, and Hate crime
