Angel: Revelations by Adam Pollina, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa

4.0

This wasn’t bad. It wasn’t amazing but it was pretty good. Though the shame is the continuing thing I keep encountering with all these pre X-Men #1 comics: all of the supporting characters will never reappear. Warren’s relationship with the characters in this book is interesting and... they’ll never reappear. The villain is left ambiguously alive or dead but has, as far as I can tell, never reappeared.

The art in this book is not great. I like the style of it but there’s just far too much anatomical weirdness and a discomforting amount of objectification of a teenager girl.
