The Batman Vault: A Museum-in-a-Book with Rare Collectibles from the Batcave by Matthew K. Manning, Robert Greenberger

3.0

While Batman fans probably won't learn a whole lot of new information from reading this book, there are a lot of great sketches and unused art throughout. Most of the collectibles are pretty fun, too. The text, however, can be a bit repetitive; for example, there is a section on all of the Robins, including a chapter on Dick Grayson, but a separate chapter on Nightwing in the allies section, the first half of which is repeated from the Robin chapter.
Overall, a decent addition to a Batman fan's collection, but not essential reading.
