Cruise Control by Terry Trueman

4.0

Cruise Control is narrated by a high school senior who has a brother with an extreme case of Cerebral Palsy. I enjoyed this book because I too have a younger brother with CP. We are very blessed because he has a mild case, but I still understand Paul's frustration when a younger sibling is suffering and the only thing you can do is love them. Cruise Control is a very well written YA novella that opens its readers eyes to life of a child who has a sibling with a disability because most people don't really look at the situation that way. The only flaw that the situations discussed in the book might call for a mature audience while the writting is written at a low level.
