Great character development for Shigaraki in this volume as we learn more about his backstory and why he acts the way that he does. He is also preparing to level up in some ways, which will make future fights against the UA students that much more intense. It's great to also get back to the students and see what their Christmas is like in the dorms. This volume also covers the start of a new work study program and the placement for Shoto, Deku, and Bakugo provide a lot of potential for future storylines.
