🏈 Looking To Score 🏈 (Book 1 of the U of J series) by Alley Ciz

π‘πžπ―π’πžπ°:

🏈 Ya’ll I am not a slow burn girly - I usually avoid anything to do with slow burn because my heart can’t take it πŸ˜‚ but holy crikey! This was worth the β€œf it” moment! I will say this book is not very spicy (I live in a very dark world) - so just know that it may have dirty talk but you’ve gotta wait for the f it moment but I promise you it’s worth it!

🏈 Mason: I truly enjoyed his character - he was confident and he really did chase the girl even though he is the play boy of the school. They don’t call him Casanova for nothing! I do however, feel bad for him. He was chasing and chasing and putting in the work while the FMC didn’t give as much as she took. Which can be quite frustrating until you kind of get a glimpse into the why she is the way she is.

🏈 Kay (aka PF): honestly, I didn’t know how to feel about her through most of the book. I can’t call her selfish because she had her REASONS (even if through most of this I was like β€œWHAT WAS THE REASON?!?” In my best Cardi B voice). And honestly, she really started to irk me off further as we go because she just wouldn’t communicate what was going on. If you like and care for someone you should trust them enough to tell them who you are - and the plot thickens!

🏈 Thank goodness the next book has been released because the cliff the sisterhood just threw me off of was LEGIT.

🏈 Inevitably I would def read this again - I like how quick of a read it is and it’s easy and fun - however there are a LOT of side characters and yes there is a whole list of nicknames but getting to figure out who is who is so daunting so that was the biggest reason I got rid of a ⭐️. Too many people introduced and not enough info!
