The Gunslinger by Stephen King

4.0

It has been a long time since I first read The Gunslinger and I thought I remembered it well. However as is always the case there was so much to pick up the second time around.
Small details, world building. Easter eggs for later on in the series.
The final part landed much better this time around.
While not the best in the series and often a drier read than some other peak King this book stands the test of time and fully sets the scene for the world about to be explored.
