Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut

A refreshing take on a war novel - despite being disjointed and lacking real depth it felt like you got to know the characters and different times very well. Read it very quickly and did enjoy it, especially the message about life and the blend of science fiction that although was insane, didn’t take over the book too much. Love the way it was written, the use of repetition and comic relief made it unique and a very enjoyable read.
