And Then She Fell by Alicia Elliott

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
The plot is about a First Nations woman living in white suburbia, aware that she's constantly being judged by her white neighbours and in-laws, struggling with post-partum depression, and also supernatural things may be going bump in the night. Elliott is a really good author, and this is a very good book. The problem is that what Elliott has managed to do is capture anxiety, distil it, and sell it in the form of a novel. My nerves couldn't handle it, and I had to tap out.
