This was an engaging enough graphic novel, but I lack the in depth knowledge of the comic book plots before it and the more recent X-Men books and universe in general that one would need to get the full benefit of the story. I enjoyed the book, but someone more conversant than I with the overarching story environment would probably enjoy it more.
