I’m always suspicious of a booktok fave but it kind of lived up to the hype, tbh. A book that’s as honest with itself as most of us claim to be. Reading this felt like watching a modern rom-com. A little cringy while relatably unhinged, made me want to throw popcorn at the screen, some confusing decision making, and love story to root for. I could take or leave Luc but I would move mountains for Oliver. How is someone so fictional so hot?? Most of the rest of the characters weren’t super interesting to me but I kind of liked that it kept the main couple at center stage.

Just because you’re fucked up doesn’t mean you can’t find someone who is just as fucked up as you are to fall in love with you.
