The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

3.0

*Slight revision from my first post because I’ve watched some other people’s reviews and they really articulated how I was feeling aka made me feel not crazy for feeling the way I did.* This book was full of the scheming, angst, romance, and debauchery of the other two. I've missed Jude and Cardan so much, and it was great to be back in the world. There's some serious character development in this novel (but was it actually done in this book or hinted at behind the scenes? Great question). The thing I could've asked for in this book was more. 300 pages? That's it? In that rite, it felt a bit rushed at times and didn’t simmer in things deliciously like they did in the past two books. Anyway, I'm going to miss these characters so much! Happy release day, QON.
