Dead silence is a good blend of sci-fi and thriller. I wouldn’t really call this a horror book, but It had me wanting to know what happened to the passengers aboard the luxury cruiser the Aurora that went missing. I enjoyed the mystery the salvage crew encountered on the ghost ship. I did not care for the main character, Claire, she annoyed me quite a few times. The small romance elements in the book I don’t think was needed and it was otherwise predictable. Ending was just too much of a “feel good” resolution.
