Closing Time by Joseph Heller

4.0

I'm conflicted on how I feel about this book. There's not much of a plot, and I was confused about what was happening at various parts. I think overall I was able to grasp the main events that happened throughout, but it was quite confusing at the time. Plus it just kind of ends with no conclusion. There may or may not be a war with missiles/bombs but we're just going to ignore that and end the book. Then there was the part about the 4 thousand pounds of caviar. That has got to be some severe overfishing going on right there! At the same time though I enjoyed reading it. I probably could have given this 3 stars but went with 4 just because I didn't struggle through the whole thing it was actually enjoyable. So let's say it's 3.5 stars and call it a day.
