It is New Year's Eve rather than Christmas and the season of reflection Andrew - but also a season of revelation as his meeting with Elias makes a number of issues in his life comes into focus.
I liked the pacing of the story and that there wasn't as rush to give the perfect ending - it is left as a definite next day but beyond that, who knows - it's up to the reader.
