I found this book at a local library sale . Before then I had never heard of this book or author. It's been sitting on my shelf for awhile, so i decided to add it to my Spooky Season reading list.

A modern take on Frankenstein...overall it was an ok book. A bit out there but still enough to give you the creeps. If you have triggers dealing with medical trauma, hospitals, operations, etc....this book is NOT for you.

I definitely found myself a little more bothered reading this than I ever am reading horror books. Maybe just the thoughtof people actually trying this nowadays just turned my stomach. There were a few things in the book that seemed to be tossed in for some type of twist/shock factor but did't really serve a purpose...I won't mention them so I don't ruin the book for anyone.

A decent read for Halloween.
