Book 95: Captain Underpants and the Sensational Saga of Sir Stinks A Lot by Dav Pilkey

Read this for Banned Books Week, #3 on the 2018 Most Challenged list.#30booksin30days (book 25) Now this series was discussed as something parents/teachers thought promoted disruptive behavior. As a teacher, I can tell you that there is plenty of disruptive behavior in a classroom daily, and Captain Underpants does not make it worse. He may even make it better, because if the kids were reading they were not being disruptive.

This book was awful, in my opinion. The language (not bad language) used was not something I thought the kids would enjoy, as the book went on there were more cartoons and illustrations, which was better. The story got better as the book went on and if the kids could get to that part they might like it. This is my first and last Captain Underpants book. I read one, been there, done that, Mic drop!
