Not much to say really about this one. It was fun to read Lift's story and see her interacting with people outside the main Stormlight cast, but that's about it. I like her relationship with Wyndle. It's like reading a story about a little, adventurous, danger attracting girl traveling with her uptight, straightforward guardian angel who'd rather be gardening.
I'm interested to see what exactly the relationship between her and Gawx could be, maybe not romantic perse, I mean he keeps her around and gives her everything she'd need as thanks for saving his life and that seems about it. But he gets overly freaked if she's not in his or his peoples' line of sight, but in a world out to kill her it kind of makes sense. She is the one who literally brought him back from the dead and stayed with him when his own uncle left him to die after a heist gone wrong. You need your white mage on your team!
Her relationship with Nale "Darkness" was interesting. She never got to eat his lunch, but--like the good little therapist these Radiants seem to becoming--she listens to him, understand him, let him air his grievances, tell him what he's doing wrong and needs to improve on, and then gives him a hug... Aw... Not sure what that entails, just reporting it.
Anyways, she gets her legs wrecked at the end of Rythm of War, so I'm really interested what her story will be after reading her actual story. Hopefully, Gawx and Nale will be behind her every step of the way despite having broken legs. She's got some kind of budding friendship with The Assassin in White, so waiting to see where that goes seeing as Szeth is the complete OPPOSITE of Lift... His talking sword however, I can see getting along SWIMMINGLY with her!
This series is weird and I'm on board!
