Follow Me to Ground by Sue Rainsford

dark mysterious medium-paced

the style this book was written in is great and really fits the time and setting for the story. the weird healing magic was unique and fascinating to read about. the protagonist is (purposely) unlikable and you quickly realize not to trust her POV as it becomes apparent with each passing page that this girl is not quite right in the head. however… the protagonist was so unreliable a narrator and the author left the ending so ambiguous that by the final page i still wasn’t even sure which terrible thing was supposed to have happened. was it one, or the other? was it both??? i don’t know, and i’m not convinced the author knows either.
