This book is so sweet and cheesy and yknow what I like sweet cheese in romance books.
For their Psych 312 assignment, Marigold and Robbie have to interview couples to understand their stories and see whether love at first sight exists or is just a common hoax. They have differing opinions, differing personalities, and a bad experience with each other last semester. But perhaps this psych homework will change their opinions on love...and of each other.
This is unlike the other audiobooks I've listened to, instead of having narration like "he said blah blah blah" it's read like a script, like listening to a play or a podcast. It was an amazing experience OMG, it had sound effects, so many different voice actors, SUCH A CUTE PLOT, amazing banter, I LOVE their relationship so much and watching it develop was just AHHHH SO CUTE
Robbie is basically those omg quirky girl main characters but as a guy, he's a romantic, he does these weird whimsical things throughout the book, and Marigold goes from tolerating it to absolutely loving it, I love their dynamic so much and the actors pulled it off so well! THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE AHHHH
also there should've been a prologue of mia and ryder (i think that's their names, their last interviewees) interviewing them for like the psych class thing BECAUSE HOW COOL WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN
Funny thing i never thought about getting an audible subscription i only started a free trial cause my spotify audiobook hours ran out and i thought i could get the book on audible, only for it to say "this item is not available in your area" and so to lick my wounds i chose to listen to this since it sounded so cute AND IT IS and I miiiiight be considering getting one idk I LOVED THIS SO MUCH AND YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO IT IF YOU HAVE AUDIBLE IT IS AN ABSOLUTE BLESSING
