I backed this on Kickstarter last year and was thoroughly impressed with the entire process of that from the publisher ect...
I'd rate this anthology as a 2.5/5. This anthology is wonderfully diverse with own voices and LGBTQ+ representation. Most of the art is beautiful, detailed and eye-catching. I'll definitely be reaching for this anthology again.
With the large list of stories, I was expecting a much longer book, sadly most of the comics are very short and it feels like some of the stories really take a hit with that limitation. Tonally and quality-wise, some of these stories are a bit all over the place and I don't really understand how they really fit in with this anthology.
I'd love to see some of these stories expanded upon. If there is another volume released in the future, I'd gladly back again. I'd love to see a few less stories so that we can get more pages out of the quality ones.
