Teach Me to Forget by Erica M. Chapman

There were some fantastic portions of this book that had me invested in and concerned for Ellery, but I strongly believe that this story didn't need a romance. While Colter and Ellery were occasionally cute together, their relationship kind of felt toxic to me at certain points. I was actually far more interested in Ellery's connection and (sort of) friendship with Dean because it was so much more complex and morally ambiguous. Maybe if Colter just stuck with being friends with Ellery I would have liked their dynamic more? I don't know, but I was kind of disappointed with the route Chapman decided to take for the story.
