I remember reading this as a kid, when I found it again at a thrift store I was so excited!
Any anxiety I had about it not holding up evaporated within the first chapter <3
Though it is most definitely written for young adults, there are still complex themes that are handled age appropriately.

I just want to keep them safe but the plot can't have that.
