The End of the Third Age by J.R.R. Tolkien

5.0

Wow. The last few chapters kind of got to me because I knew this long adventure was coming to an end and I always sort of felt that this would be Sam's story. It made me so sad to lose so many people in the war of the ring, granted not many were significant characters, but I empathised nonetheless and it broke my heart to see the final, true parting of the fellowship at the Haven. Also, what became of Legolas and Gimli and did Boromir's soul find peace?
I sure hope so.
I wish I could write everything I felt whilst reading this book, but because it was such a slow read for me, and at times agonizing, I can't.
But nevertheless, this was a great ending to an amazing, epic novel.
I strongly urge you to pick it up, give it a go and enjoy! ^^
