The Silver Dream by Mallory Reaves, Michael Reaves, Neil Gaiman
4.0
Looking at the reviews for this it appears that some people can't take a low-grade YA sci-fi novella at face value. It was a good two hours of entertainment. Yes the heroes are overeager and shinily optimistic and perfect. Yes the villains are cookie-cutter and they make big bad cliche speeches about their big bad plans to destroy the world. And you know what? My inner ten year old enjoyed EVERY SECOND OF IT.
The GOOD: spunky kid has to save the world and his friends. HePain and angst involved.
The BAD:
Both big villains rambled for a page each. It was truly horrible to have to read another villainous speech whatever will I do.
