I was disappointed with this book. For a book that's set in East London, there is very little diversity. All of our main characters are white, the story isn't dependant on the characters being white, so they lost a star for that.  One of the white people in the book even had dreadlocks... need I say more? Although issues like gentrification are brought up, they're never fully explored.  The sex scenes fell slightly flat to me and overall were a little unrealistically portrayed. Ultimately this is a book about female friendships so I felt like we needed more moments of sincerity between the friends, for the most part it seemed like they all secretly hated each other. The actual story wasn't bad and it was very easy to read, although at times a little predictable which is why I'm giving this book 2 stars.
