It is a slog to get through, I would not recommend it. The author doesn't know how to not sexualise a female character and the men have constant and consistent sex. I cannot emphasise this enough, no woman comes out of this unsexualised, and there is badly written sex at least once a chapter if not more. People are always masturbating or thinking about sex or having sex, it's not erotic and feels out of place a good 90% of the time. It absolutely detracts from any hard sci-fi present, the proof of that you can find in the last 20 pages where the story is at its best and the main characters aren't having any sex. Has some interesting ideas, but the author's clear horniness, and disdain for the marginalised (POC, addicts, disabled people, women, queer people, etc), makes it near unreadable.
