I never got to read this one as a kid and I figured that spooky season was the perfect time to read some of the goosebumps I never got to read or that I loved.
This was perfectly spooky and creepy and honestly so well written, something I never appreciated as a kid. I read this super fast as each end of a chapter leaves you needing more and more frights and hopefully, some answers.
I imagine my 10 year old self reading this and then proceeding to sleep on the floor next to my parents bed for a week recovering from my fear.
Moral of the story here is that there is ALWAYS a catch with a free house from some relative or person you don’t remember ever knowing, haha!
