Titans Vol. 3: A Judas Among Us (Rebirth) by Dan Abnett
4.0
It sure took a while to get ahold of this volume!
There’s plenty of action here but it does take a while to build up. Also, I’m not sure I liked the romance focus in this volume. Some of the Titans pair off and then there’s a love triangle... yeah, I could have done without that.
I do like the later issues’ focus on the strong bond between the team members and how their friendship is a great source of strength. This helps tie the characters together.
I really like most of these characters so it’s nice that we got more points of view here than just Wally’s and Dick’s. I’m still not sure about Lilith, but that’s probably because she hasn’t been written well. Give her more to do, DC.
Donna Troy is best served in this volume. I was worried she would get shunted into the role of love interest but she gets to fight and have plenty of personality.
I love the art in this series and I think it’s getting better with each volume. Love the attention to detail in the settings and that the characters actually look like individuals and not carbon copies of each other.
Looking forward to more fun with the Titans.
